When I talk about solar to someone, I wonder why immediately they get a little defensive and start to build a wall. To strangers I get "not interested" which is what I snack on everyday but to friends I usually get "I can't afford solar right now".

I believe what you are trying to tell me is that you don't know much about solar and it's ok, I'm here to help...if only you let me.

If you can afford to pay your monthly electric bills then you can afford solar. Read that again.

Let me break that down for you. So let's say your average monthly electric bill is $150 dollars. If have solar panels installed, your $100 will go to pay (financing) for your solar panels. You will still get a bill every month but it will only be about $20 so now you've spent $120 to cover all your energy cost. So from $150 down to $120 right? So that means you saved $30 easy.

Now tell me, why on earth would you say you cannot afford solar panels?
