There are so many things you can do in order to save money. There are little things you can sacrifice, eliminate or reduce and over time, these little things can add up in your pocketbook. And if more people will do their part, these little things can add up to save the environment as well.

SAVE WATER

You can save water by taking shorter showers. I don't mean to compromise your hygiene but what we don't notice sometimes is that we take long showers just because the warm water feels good while forgetting the fact that we are wasting water and money by doing so.

SAVE PAPER

Recycling is not the only way to save paper although it contributes to the process largely but there are also other means like nowadays you can get your bill electronically and save the company from sending you those printed bills that you only throw in the trash.

SAVE GAS

The most effective way to save gas is to leave your car at home and take the public transportation to work. This may not be for everyone but this is very effective. You will not only save gas, it also reduces the amount of pollution.

To those who can't leave their cars at home, at least get a tune up. You'll save fuel if your car is its optimum working order and you will pollute less when you drive. Keep your tires properly inflated to reduce your CO2 emissions, improves gas mileage thus saves you money. Drive wisely by avoiding unnecessary accelerating or braking which wastes gas and increase CO2 emissions.

SAVE ENERGY

Today, the most effective way to save energy is to use clean energy that is solar energy. With solar, you won't have to worry about adjusting your thermostat a few degrees or using a fan instead of AC and all those tricks to save money on your electric bill. You will also be doing the environment good because you will now be using renewable energy and not energy from fossil fuels that emits high CO2 emission.
